VITILIGO, OR AS I LIKE TO CALL IT, LIFE’S STORY WRITTEN ON MY SKIN.

Vitiligo, or as I like to call it, life’s story written on my skin.

For those who don’t know, Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses pigment (specifically melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour). This photo was taken after my recent trip to Mexico, only 5 days in the sun. You can see how the patches of depigmented white skin stand out, in comparison to where my skin takes colour. ⠀
